PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key and a lock device having a relatively simple structure and which can be produced at a low cost and has less electrical trouble, and can correctly manage information such as use history or the like on the basis of accurate time information and can be easily used. SOLUTION: The lock device is composed of a key 10 and a lock 20 using the key 10. The key 10 is constituted of a proper ID, an inside watch 11 showing a present time, an interface 17 enabling transmission and receiving information with the lock 20. The interface 21 enabling transmission and receiving of information between the lock 20 and the key 10 and an ID collation meansare provided in the lock 20.
