PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or prevent the environmental contamination and to reduce the impairing of film performance caused by silica scale by minimizing the use of agents and effectively utilizing the condensed drainage. SOLUTION: This boiler system comprises a softening means 8 for softening the raw water, a filtering means 10 for filtering the water treated by the softening means 8 by a filtration film capable of capturing a corrosion hastening component of non-passive metal, a water supply means 2 for supplying the water treated by the filtering means 10 to a boiler 1, and a condensed water returning means 13 for returning the condensed water in the boiler 1 to the raw water at an upstream side of the filtering means 10.
