PURPOSE: Provided are a herbal pharmaceutical composition having anticancer effect and enhancement effect on immunity and hematopoietic function and inhibiting damage by oxidation and method for manufacturing the same. Therefore, the composition is applied to the prevention of adverse side effect occurring in cancer therapy, such as cancer chemotherapy and cancer radiotherapy. CONSTITUTION: The herbal pharmaceutical composition is characterized by comprising the hot water extract of a herbal mixture consisting Angelica gigas, Cnidium officinale Makino and Paeonia japonica var. pilosa, and polysaccharide fractions as sediments generated by adding ethanol to the hot water extract of the herbal mixture consisting Angelica gigas, Cnidium officinale Makino and Paeonia japonica var. pilosa.
