PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device capable of greatly reducing the loss of a collection circuit. SOLUTION: A power collecting circuit 24 comprising a reactor 9, a pair of diodes 10, a pair of 6th switches 11, and a capacitor 12 is provided for each of an X electrode group and a Y electrode group. Current energy from the capacitor 12 is accumulated in the reactor 9 by turning on one of the pair of the 6th switches 10 before the positive or negative voltage of a sustain driving circuit rises, and when the voltage rises, the current energy accumulated in the reactor 9 is added to perform charging from the capacitor 12.
