PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner, the toner, and an image forming method using the same in which excellent fixability on thick paper or offset printing paper is ensured, no toner blister is generated, and in-machine contamination due to toner scattering is not caused even after printing on many sheets. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing toner, the toner is obtained through a step of agglomerating particles comprising a crystalline ester compound represented by the formula (1): R<SB>1</SB>-(OCO-R<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>and resin particles in an aqueous medium in which an aluminum compound is present. In the method for manufacturing toner, the toner, and an image forming method using the same, excellent fixability on thick paper or offset printing paper is ensured, no toner blister is generated, and in-machine contamination due to toner scattering is not caused even after printing on many sheets.
