PURPOSE: A method for preparing a semitransparent glass is provided, to allow the shape of the unevenness to be controlled for controlling the reflectivity, surface touch and strength of a plated glass. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of spraying water to a plated glass to allow the total surface of the plated glass to be wet for preventing the chemical marks from remaining in etching; vertically dipping the wet plated glass into a precipitation bath containing a corrosion solution composition to grow the unevenness on the surface of the plated glass (first etching); washing the plated glass with water to remove the sludge on the surface of the plated glass; dipping the wet plated glass into a precipitation bath containing a corrosion solution composition to re-grow the unevenness on the surface of the plated glass with allowing the grown uneven particles to be even (second etching); and washing the plated glass with water to remove the sludge on the surface of the plated glass. Preferably the corrosion solution composition comprises 10-60 wt% of NH4HF2, 0-25 wt% of H3PO4, 0-25 wt% of H2BO3, 30-60 wt% of a surfactant (glycerin and water) and 0-15 wt% of an enhancer; or 20-40 wt% of HF, 15-30 wt% of NH3, 2-10 wt% of H3PO4, 2-10 wt% of methanol and 30-60 wt% of distilled water.
