VEHICLE TRAVELING CONTROL SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD OF CONTROL ALLOCATION TIME OF A VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A vehicle traveling control system and its method are provided to control allocation time of a vehicle actively by traveling information received from a vehicle terminal device in real time. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, passenger demand of a post-departure vehicle is estimated(S1300). A standard deviation and an average of an arrival time of the post-departure vehicle to a station are estimated according to vehicle position on a line(S1310). A delay time of the vehicle is calculated to minimize total cost if the post-departure vehicle does not arrive yet(S1340). Departure of the vehicle after the calculated delay time is instructed if the calculated delay time is smaller than or equal to an estimation time interval(S1360).
