INVERTER COMPRESSOR WITH OIL SUPPLY AMOUNT CONTROL FUNCTION FOR PREVENTING SHORTAGE OF OIL IN HIGH-SPEED TRAVELING

PURPOSE: An inverter compressor with an oil supply amount control function is provided to prevent shortage of oil in a high-speed traveling by regulating the supply amount of oil fed by an oil pump according to the rotational speed of a rotor. CONSTITUTION: An inverter compressor with an oil supply amount control function comprises a casing(11) forming a receiving space therein and containing oil in the lower part; an inverter electric motor unit(31) disposed longitudinally in the casing and composed of a rotary shaft(36) having an oil supply passage to regulate RPM(Revolution per Minute); a compression unit(21) installed at the side of the electric motor unit along an axis of the rotary shaft to compress coolant; an oil pump combined to the lower end of the rotary shaft to quickly send upward the oil to the oil supply passage; and an oil control unit(51) having an oil regulating plate installed in the oil supply passage and moved along the radial direction of the rotary shaft by centrifugal force as the rotary shaft rotates to regulate the amount of the oil sent by the oil pump.
