PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic rush adjuster for separating and discharging air in lubricating oil to an external part. SOLUTION: This hydraulic rush adjuster 10 has a body 11 installed in an engine block 21, and a plunger 12 movably arranged by fitting an outer peripheral surface 12c to an inner peripheral surface 11a. A low pressure chamber 14 is formed in the plunger 12. A high pressure chamber 15 is composed of the body 11 and the plunger 12. An inlet hole 11b is formed in the body 11 for communicating with an oil feeding passage 21b formed in the engine block 21. A plunger hole 12i is formed in the plunger 12 for communicating with the low pressure chamber 14. An orifice passage 20 for connecting the inlet hole 11b and the plunger hole 12i, is formed of a diametrally expanded part 11c formed on the inner peripheral surface 11a of the body 11 and an opposed part 12h formed on the outer peripheral surface 12c of the plunger 12.
