PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table device for a bed, the level of the top of which can be unerringly adjusted. SOLUTION: The table device has a pair of moving leg members 16, the upper ends of which are attached to the underside of both ends of the top 47, a pair of fixed leg members 11 vertically slidably supporting the moving leg members, an interlocking shaft 38, both ends of which are rotatably supported on the upper ends of the pair of moving leg members and an upper sprocket 39 is provided in the both ends thereof, a lower sprocket 41 rotatably provided in the lower ends of the moving leg members, a pair of chains 43, one end and the other end of which are connected to the fixed leg members by engaging the halfway portions with the lower sprocket and the upper sprocket, converting the vertical movement to the rotation of the connecting shaft when one moving leg members is vertically moved and transmitting to the other moving leg member, and a gas spring 26 urging one moving leg member in the rising direction.
