PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device equipped with a sliding door easily suppressing lateral deflection of an overhang door even without a guide rail on a floor face. SOLUTION: This opening/closing device 1A has two sashes 12, 13 at least one of which is constituted as an overhang sliding door with a sash pulley 201a or 201b rolling on a guide rail 202a or 202b to open/close an opening while having no rail below. The floor face FL is protrusively provided with guide rollers 15a, 15b. The overhang sliding door is constituted to mount the guide roller in a lower guide groove 207a or 207b formed at the lower end of the sliding door and to guide the travel direction of the overhang sliding door by the cooperation of the guide groove and guide roller while regulating the lateral deflection in the inner and outer direction. The two sashes mutually regulate lateral deflection by loosely fitting side rollers 300a, 300b mounted to the respective sashes, into side part guide grooves 126, 127 respectively provided on the other sash side.
