PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing pulp molded body which exerts high deodorizing/adsorbing properties that can reveal a performance corresponding to the amount of mixing-in of activated carbon having a deodorizing performance and which has a sufficient strength and can be improved in shape retention and making-up properties, by a dry method excellent in productivity and moldability. SOLUTION: Vegetable fibers constituted mainly of pulp, activated carbon fibers and core-sheath structure type thermoplastic resin fibers having thermal weldability are subjected to dry mixing and stacked together so that a mat-shaped sheet be obtained. After this sheet is heat-treated with hot air, it is heated and pressed by a pair of male and female press tools so that the vegetable fibers and the activated carbon fibers be fixed to each other by the medium of the core-sheath structure type thermoplastic resin fibers having the thermal weldability and be molded integrally.
