FIELD: shipbuilding; transportation of upper structure to fixed offshore platform. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heeling the water craft without cargo for determination of its mass and then cargo is placed on water craft and water craft is again subjected to heeling with cargo on its deck. Mass of water craft with and without cargo is compared and mass of cargo and its coordinates of mass are determined. ^ EFFECT: facilitated procedure; reduced labor consumption; enhanced accuracy of determination of mass of cargo. ^ 3 dwg
