PURPOSE: A backlight structure of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to condense red, green, and blue lights emitted from light sources by a prism sheet after refracting the lights. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(210) is formed of a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first and second substrates. A first block to a fourth block(210A-210D) define the LCD panel into a plurality of domains. A light guide plate(221) is installed on the back of the LCD panel. A first light source part to a fourth light source(222A-222D) are installed corresponding to the first and fourth blocks for providing red, green, and blue lights. A prism sheet(240) is installed between the light guide plate, and the first and fourth light sources. A control unit(230) outputs control signals to the first and fourth light sources for controlling lighting of red, green, and blue light sources.
