#CMT# #/CMT# An adhesive strip including a carrier (1) with a first side (2) and a second side (3), where the carrier is a double film strip in closed cell polyethylene foam or an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer and the two sides have at least two segments (4,5,5,4',5',6') coated with different adhesives of which at least the first adhesive has a higher initial adhesive strength and at least one second adhesive a high end adhesive strength. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The adhesive strip is generally useful for adhesive bonding. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The adhesive strip gives an adhesive bond immediately after use able to support high loads and can be used for bonding surfaces having small surface unevennesses. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# Figure 1 shows a laminated adhesive strip. 1 : carrier, 2 : first side, 3 : second side, 4,4',5,5', 6,6' : coated segments. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# The adhesive strip of high initial adhesive strength is a synthetic rubber adhesive and that of the adhesive of high end adhesive strength is an acrylate adhesive. The adhesive strip as a whole has an adhesive strength on rust-free steel after 1 minute of greater than 12 N/25 mm and after 24 hours of greater than 30 N/25 mm. The carrier is a double film strip in closed cell polyethylene foam or an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. The adhesive film has a separation film (7) on a least one adhesive coated side of carrier (1). |
