<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control device capable of updating an operation program easily and reliably. <P>SOLUTION: This control device comprises an A-D converter 7, a program-storing portion 3 that stores the operation program; an operation processor 4 that inputs digital signals, operates according to the operation program, and transmits control signals; an input/output terminal 6 that transmits the control signals of the operation processing portion 4 to a set device of a controlled portion; a setter 5 that sets an interface with each device of the controlled portion for the controlled signals; a program reader and writer 2 that reads out and write in the operation program; a program dispenser 1 that dispenses the operation program; and an identifier storing portion 30 that stores an identifier inherent in the controlling device.
