<p>Air from a secondary air pump flows through an inlet (3) into an inlet chamber (13). The valve plate (11) may be pushed downwards by admission of air into a chamber (8) above the diaphragm (6). The valve plate seals against a flat seat plate (12) when closed by a return spring (10). When the valve is open, air flows through a first aperture (19) into a first outlet chamber (14). Some of the air flows out through a first outlet (5), and the remaining air flows through a second valve aperture (20) into a second outlet chamber (18), and flows out through a second outlet (4).</p> |
