FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical, food and forest processing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves treatment of larch wood saw-dust with extractant representing an aqueous 60-70% solution of ethyl alcohol at heating, evaporation of extract, separation of resinous substances, heating extract, crystallization, purification from isopropanol or ethanol solution in the presence of activated carbon at heating mixture to boiling followed by isolation of the end product by cooling and separation of precipitated formed.
