PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character data distribution system for variedly selecting/changing characters which are used by an application having an event in which characters pronounce by speech synthesis in a mobile terminal loaded with the application. SOLUTION: The character data distribution system is at least provided with: a storage device (3) which stores character data including vocal quality data for defining vocal quality of the characters to be used by the application for mobile terminal having the event in which the characters pronounce by the speech synthesis; and a server (2) which reads corresponding character data from the storage device (3) according to a request from the mobile terminal (1) loaded with the application for mobile terminal and distributes the read character data to the mobile terminal (1) which issues the request.
