<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a printed image by eliminating the velocity fluctuation of a paper caused by such a constitution that paper carrying/driving means are separately arranged in an image forming part and a fixing part. <P>SOLUTION: As for the continuous paper printer provided with at least one image transfer part for transferring a toner image formed on a photoreceptor to a paper and a fixation heat roll for melting and fixing the toner image, the continuous paper printer is provided with a braking mechanism arranged on the prestage of the image transfer part so as to impart a tension to the paper, and a carrying roll arranged on the poststage of the fixation heat roll so as to wind the paper around the roll and carry the paper while rubbing. The fixation heat roll is slave-rotated by winding the paper around the fixation heat roll equipped with no driving source at an angle equal to or exceeding a fixed angle, and the paper is carried with the driving force of the carrying roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
