PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate bar for a parking garage for preventing the direct transmission of an overload to a driving system by bending the gate bar when receiving the overload, repeatedly usable by easily returning the bent gate bar to an original straight state, and relatively inexpensively executable with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A part between a holder 3 installed on an operation shaft 2 of a crossing gate 1 and the gate bar 4 is connected and held in a straight state in a state of bringing a root end surface 4A of the gate bar 4 into close contact with a tip surface 3A of the holder 3 by tension by using a coil spring 5 constituted by using a shape memory alloy.
