A thermoplastic material is added to a casting mold in fluid form and allowed to solidify. The solidified material is then packaged. The casting mold is made from silicone elastomers produced using a platinum catalyst. The fluid thermoplastic material is poured into the mold at 40-280[deg]C, preferably 60-260[deg]C and more particularly 80-240[deg]C. On solidification the solid thermoplastic and casting mold may be packaged together or the solid thermoplastic is separated from the mold before packing. The mold remains in a flexible rubbery state within the range -40 to 280[deg]C. An independent claim is made for a packaged portion of either a thermoplastic or reactive adhesive, coating or sealing material and a casting mold of silicone elastomers produced with a platinum catalyst.
