A device for a welding head (1) of the type connected to a welding machine (2), and where the welding head (1) is designed so as to allow it to change the angle of a welding tip (76) relative to a centre axis (8a) during operation, and at the same time turn the welding tip (76) about the same centre axis (8a), and where at least two shafts (62) rotatably supported in a rotary sleeve (10) are connected to their respective, mutually parallel lower angle lever (60a) and upper angle lever (60b), the opposite ends of the angle levers (60a, 60b) being hinged to a parallel arm (72), and where the lower end of the parallel arm (72) is hinged to a welding tip holder (75), the hinge joints between the parallel arm (72) and the angle levers (60a, 60b) and welding tip holder (75) having parallel axes; a first pulley/sprocket (74) is fixed to the lower angle lever (60b) via a shaft (70a), the shaft (70a) forming the hinge joint with the parallel arm (72), and a second pulley/sprocket (78) is fixed to the welding tip holder (75) at the hinge joint with the lower portion of the parallel arm (72), the two pulleys/sprockets being interconnected by a belt/chain (80), whereby the welding head (1) is arranged in a manner such that the welding direction of the welding tip (76) is always pointed at a pivot point (82). |
