ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM USING IP ADDRESS CLASSIFICATION

An access control system performs access control by a method set by a data provider according to the IP address classification. The access control system is connected to a network for relaying a data providing system and a user accessing the data providing system. The access control system includes user IP address acquisition means for receiving a data providing system access request from a user and acquiring an IP address, an IP address classification database in which IP addresses are classified according to countries, areas, organizations, line types, transmission origin types, arbitrary classification types, and the like, an access control setting database in which a control method is set according to the IP address classification, access enabled/disabled judgment means for selecting an access control method corresponding to the IP address classification identified, and access control means for executing the access control method selected.
