PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the case where an expansion valve is a little opened so that a very small quantity of refrigerant gas flows in the condition where one chamber is in a thermostat-off state and a compressor is in on-state in a multi-air conditioner. SOLUTION: The expansion valve mounted on the inlet side of a heat exchanger of an interior unit is initialized in the case where the thermostat-off state of the interior unit continues for designated time, the outlet temperature of the heat exchanger of the interior unit is higher or lower than that immediately after the thermostat is turned off by a designated temperature, and the interior intake temperature of the interior unit is higher than that immediately after the thermostat is turned off by a designated value.
