Objective mount, preferably for a projection lens, comprises a cylindrical front focussing element (1) made of plastic which is held in a focussing nut made of a metallic material. The front focussing element has a pin (4) provided with an external thread (3) corresponding to the internal thread of the focussing nut for axial displacement of the front focussing element. The pin has at least two axial slits (5). Preferred Features: The slits extend over the entire length of the pin. The slits are linear and lie parallel to the centering axis (6).
