<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver which enables a user to understand intuitively which character is printed as an original font designated by application software and which character is printed as the font replaced by the one different from the font designated by the application software when character data is printed by the printer. <P>SOLUTION: The printer driver is constituted of a means for selecting a font to replace the font designated by the application software, a means for holding information on the font to be replaced when the font designated by the application software is replaced with other font, a means for notifying the user of the information on the font to be replaced when the font designated by the application software is replaced with the other font, and a means for selecting if the user acquires the information on the font to be replaced when the font designated by the application software is replaced with the other font. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
