PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To track the sun, to search the most bright direction even when the sun is shielded by cloud, to prevent complicated motion of a device, to automatically sense the sun every morning, and to allow carrying. SOLUTION: This sun tracking exposure device has a detecting part having an azimuth detector, an altitude detector and an illuminance detector, a driving part having an azimuth tracking motor and an altitude tracking motor, an electric power source part having a solar battery panel and a battery, and a control part for controlling the driving part. The driving part is controlled to make two respective photoreceiving elements of the azimuth detector/the altitude detector sense respectively lights of the same light quantity when photoreceived luminous energy in the illuminance detector is T luxes or more, and the driving part is controlled to make an azimuth of a sample face directed just to the south and to make the altitude thereof directed to a direction of a latitude in a measuring point, when the photoreceived luminous energy in the illuminance detector is less than T luxes. A value of T is 4000-6000, and a commercial electric power source is not required to be connected, so as to allow the carrying. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
