<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in the vibration displacement of an objective lens actuator caused by a vibration generated when the motor of an optical pickup device is driven. <P>SOLUTION: To correct the spherical aberration of an objective lens 29 when a light emitted from a light source 3 disposed in the optical pickup device 1 is converged on an optical disk, a first correction lens 6 is moved by moving a correction lens moving means 8. The correction lens moving means 8 is provided with a motor and a plurality of gears. To prevent an increase in the vibration displacement of an objective lens actuator 10 caused by the influence of a vibration frequency generated by the rotation of the gears, the vibration frequency generated by the rotation of the gears is set larger by 1.5 times or more than the resonance frequency of the objective lens actuator 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
