PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection grille and an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, improved in fitting stability of the protection grille. SOLUTION: The protection grille 20 is provided for covering openings 9a, 9b in a casing 5 of an air conditioner 1 having a side plate 6 with opening parts 9a, 9b and a top plate 7 covering the upper side of the side plate 6. The protection grille includes: a fixed part 21 and a body part 22. The fixed part 21 is fixed in a fitting hole provided in the top plate 7.
