Artificial tooth for dental prostheses

The artificial tooth (1) is made of a suitable material with its upper area (10, 11) designed in a shape matching the appearance of the tooth to be replaced. The lower surface is slightly curved and sloping towards the inner area of the mouth, resulting in the tooth (1) being higher at the back. A rectangular recess (13) is filled with the pliable material of the base (2) when the tooth (1) is attached. The new design of an artificial tooth (1) is provided with two grooves (15) positioned opposite each other at the lower rim (14) in order to counteract the forces created by a chewing motion.
