PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to make a diagnosis on equipment for errors at reduced cost without carrying around a service manual. SOLUTION: Communication equipment 2 picks up an image of an error code, creates an email M1 with image data, and sends it to an error management center 1 via a communication network 3. The error management center 1 analyzes the email M1 to determine if there is an error with an air conditioner 4. Then an email M2 indicating measures against the error is created and sent to the communication equipment 2 via the communication network 3.
