<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile having a stable mounting and sealing properties by providing an extended portion on an end portion of the weather strip for sealing portions among divided components of a sliding roof for opening and closing an opening of the roof panel of the automobile. <P>SOLUTION: In this weather strip 20 to seal portions among divided components of a sliding roof 10 for opening and closing a roof panel opening 2 of the automobile by the components having been made by dividing the roof 10 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, there are provided a rear side seal 21 positioned on the rear side and a front side seal 22 on the front side which are two seals each having a hollow section positioned in parallel in the width direction of the vehicle body, and the front side seal 22 has extended portions 22c and 22h that extend to the front direction, formed on both end portions of the weather strip 20 in the width direction of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
