PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method coping with a dispersion resulting from the threshold of a photocoupler or conversion efficiency and a dispersion in the operation of an indoor unit fan motor itself. SOLUTION: A control part 1c reads data for a predetermined control rotating speed out of a set delay time table (ST1). The data are used in driving the indoor unit fan motor at a rotating speed approximate to the control rotating speed (ST2) and that a time required for control passes is identified (ST3). When a preset time does not pass (ST3-N), a remote control signal is received from a remote control signal generator (ST4). When the remote control signal does not come (ST4-N), wait until it comes (ST4-N). When the remote control signal comes (ST4-Y), a set delay time is calculated from the received data (ST5) and the corrected set delay time is used in driving the indoor unit fan motor 6 at a rotating speed more approximate to the control rotating speed (ST6), and these procedures are repeated for a preset time.
