PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of a transportation carrier with an elevation function. SOLUTION: A screw shaft 51 is mounted in a lengthwise direction in the center part of an axle 40 having a pair of wheels connected to each end. A nut 32 threaded to the screw shaft 51 is fixed to a deck 31. Power transmission gears 61, 62 , and a shift gear 65 are mounted to the axle 40. The power transmission gears 61, 62 engage to a tooth part provided on the axle 40, and the shift gear 65 can rotate integrally with the axle 40. The rotation of the axle 40, when transmitted to the screw shaft 51 through the gears 61, 62, 65 is converted to a linear motion which elevates or lowers the nut 32, and then elevates the deck 31, enabling both transportation and elevation of loads to be performed at the same time, thus improving workability.
