PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reserve a leaked gas from a canister in a prescribed portion to precisely detect leakage of helium. SOLUTION: In this canister storage cask, the canister 14 sealed with the helium is stored in a cask main body 12, an upper opening of the cask main body 12 is closed by a cask lid body 11, and a suction port 24 and an exhaust port 25 communicated with a cooling air passage 23 formed between the cask main body 12 and the canister 14 are provided in the cask main body 12 to promote heat radiation from the canister 14.
