ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER, TONER EVALUATING METHOD, AND DEVELOPING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner free of problems on toner conveyability and always ensuring high image quality with good dot reproducibility, particularly a toner having fluidity optimum for conveyance in a tubular member, and to provide a developing method using the same and a method and device for evaluating the fluidity of the toner. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner used in conveyance in a tubular member and obtained by sticking or fixing an additive on the surface of powder consisting essentially of a resin and a pigment has such fluidity as to generate a torque of 0.1-1.7 mNm or a load of 0.01-0.35 N when the powder is compacted to a void ratio of≤0.6 in a powder bed and a conical rotor is made to intrude under rotation into the powder bed by 20 mm at an intrusion rate of 5 mm/min.
