PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a light emitting display arrayed with a plurality of luminescent elements to conduct luminescent display according to a detected value. SOLUTION: This light emitting display for conducting the luminescent display by the number of the luminescent elements 1<SB>1</SB>-1<SB>n</SB>corresponding to a difference value between the detected value Vs and a reference value Vr is provided with a plurality of inverters 2<SB>1</SB>-2<SB>n</SB>connected respectively to the plurality of the luminescent elements 1<SB>1</SB>-1<SB>n</SB>impressed with an electric power source voltage Vcc, a reference electric power source 3 for generating the reference value Vr by a shunt regulator 8 or the like, and constitution for potential-dividing the difference value between the detected value Vs and the reference value Vr from the reference electric power source 3 at potential dividing ratios different respectively by resistances 4<SB>1</SB>-4<SB>n</SB>, 5<SB>1</SB>-5<SB>n</SB>, so as to be input into the plurality of inverters 2<SB>1</SB>-2<SB>n</SB>.
