摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of the process of readjusting an optical system without adopting high-precision components or high-precision manufacturing processes to cope with the peripheral focus deviation, etc. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises an imaging optical system for forming an object image, a focus control means for obtaining focusing information for focusing the object image onto a specified focus area, an imaging optical system driving means for driving at least a part of the imaging optical system to adjust the focus based on the focusing information, an imaging means for taking the object image formed by an imaging optical system, a memory means for previously storing resolution feeling adjustment information representing the required resolution feeling adjustment quantity based on the resolution feeling difference between resolution feelings in a focused state about a plurality of regions in an imaging range, and a control means for controlling to execute a resolution feeling adjusting process for image data in regions having need of the adjustment based on the resolution feeling adjusting information, if the resolution feeling adjustment information exist in the image data obtained by the imaging.
