PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bus reseting of a transmission line of an IEEE1394 serial bus when network-connected communication equipment is disconnected or when other communication equipment is connected. SOLUTION: A dummy node part is set equal to 2nd communication equipment on detecting that the setting information of 2nd communication equipment is communicated while 1st communication equipment and the 2nd communication equipment are connected, and when the disconnection of the 2nd communication equipment is detected, the 1st communication equipment and the dummy node are connected.
