The plug connector has a housing (1), a plug (2) of RJ45 type, prefabricated with electric cable (3), and insertable into housing, and a lock (7) for housing in a retainer (22,26), containing RJ45 coupler (30). Onto cable is laterally insertable split seal (4) and compression ring (5).Over the cable is insertable a twin-shell screw member (6), which can be screwed into the housing, while pressing down the seal. Thus it presses down the seal against a stop on housing.
