PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a polyester film coated with primer, which prevents the film from breaking during a drying step, and improves the workability, production efficiency and final properties of the film. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a biaxially oriented polyester film coated with a functional primer comprises a step of coating the primer onto the biaxially oriented polyester film in both directions of the machine direction and the cross-machine direction in a tender. The primer is coated on the polyester film by using a spray type coating device.
