PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the suppression of frequency variation of a piezoelectric element and its miniaturization. SOLUTION: A container for a piezoelectric device is constituted so that a SAW element 11 is stored in a space formed by a container main body 2 and a cover 3 by forming the container main body 2 and the cover 3 by crystal. By constituting the container in this way, a SAW device 1 is miniaturized since height H of the SAW device 1 is lowered and the frequency variation of the SAW device due to thermal expansion is suppressed since thermal expansion coefficient of the container main body 2 can be made coincident with that of the SAW element 11.
