PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console switch capable of easily connecting a terminal to a port of an optional information processor. SOLUTION: This console switch 100 for selectively connecting terminals 3 to 6 to each port of conventional devices 200 to 2nn having a plurality of ports connected through a network 8 comprises a first means for acquiring port information for specifying the part from the terminals 3 to 6, and a second means for referring to a prescribed database on the basis of the port information acquired by the first means and establishing a connection path between the terminals 3 to 6 and ports of the conventional devices 200 to 2nn.
