PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform the conclusion processing of transaction under processing when an EJB(R) container is abnormally stopped in the middle of the operation of an application program. SOLUTION: This distributed transaction system is provided with a plurality of EJB(R) containers, a transaction centralization managing part connected to the respective EJB(R) containers and a resource connected to the respective EJB(R) containers. The information of a resource to be accessed by one EJB(R) container is notified from one EJB(R) container to the transaction centralization management part. When the abnormal finish of one EJB(R) container in the middle of the execution of transaction is detected by the transaction centralization management part, another EJB(R) container requests the conclusion processing of the access under processing to the resource by using the information of the resource notified through the transaction centralization management part.
