PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material and a packaging structure, which are highly reliable and enables secure packaging using a few packaging material. SOLUTION: The packaging structure comprises a pair of side pads 11a, 11b, which are arranged on both sides of a cook utensil body 1 to hold its sides and function as pillars of the packaging structure 19 after the cook utensil body 1 is packaged, a lower case 12 for protecting the lower face side of the cook utensil body 1, a front sash bar pad 14 having a peripheral holding part 13, which is arranged to project from the front face of the cook utensil body 1 and protect its front face, and to extend circularly from the lower face side to the front upper face side of a top plate 2 placed on the cook utensil body 1 and hold the front part of the top plate 2 to keep the plate 2 at a prescribed position, and an upper case 16, which is located on the upper face side of the top plate 2 to protect the upper face side of the top plate.
