<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for which blade and/or flange exchanging work can be performed easily, surely, and quickly. <P>SOLUTION: This cutting device is characterised by being provided with a blade 22 which cuts a material to be worked, a spindle 24 which rotates the blade 22 at a high speed in a state where the blade 22 is fitted to its one end, and a spindle housing 26 which supports the spindle 24 in a rotatable state, and also a locking device 50 which is installed to the housing 26 and locks the rotation of the spindle 24 when the blade 22 is detached from and attached to the spindle 24.
