PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer that improves a measurement error caused by temperature difference in a reagent even in a small number of analysis times when measuring the degree of reaction of the reagent to a specimen in a cuvette. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer 1 comprises: a sample tray 3 that can mount a plurality of cuvettes 11 and heats and/or cools the cuvettes 11 by a heated and/or cooled block 32; and a dispenser 4 having a suction nozzle 41. In the automatic analyzer 1, the reagent and a specimen liquid are mixed in the cuvette 11 mounted onto the sample tray 3 for heating and/or cooling and at the same time the degree of reaction is measured for analyzing a specimen constituent. After the reagent is successively dispensed to entire cuvettes 11 mounted onto the sample tray 3, the dispensing of the specimen to the cuvettes 11 is started when the reagent reaches a specific temperature at a lapse of specific time from dispensing the reagent to a first cuvette 11.
