PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thumb-turn protective cap of a vestibule door easily installable on an existing locking device, and surely checking thumb-turn rotation from the outdoor side by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This thumb-turn protective cap of the vestibule door is arranged on the indoor side of the locking device of the vestibule door, and protects thumb-turn for putting the vestibule door in a locking state by rotational operation, and is characterized in that the protective cap has a peripheral wall for forming an inner peripheral surface having the substantially same inner diameter as the outer peripheral surface of a thumb-turn case for rotatably supporting the thumb-turn, and the tip of the peripheral wall surface projects from the tip of the thumb-turn when installing the protective cap on the thumb-turn case by matching the inner peripheral surface of peripheral wall part with the outer peripheral surface of the thumb-turn case.
