PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing device with a side block a compact vertical bearing at a low cost for a function separation type bearing, in which a mounting area to superstructure work or substructure work may be reduced even when the quantity of sliding movement is increased, the side block is removed automatically and moved as omnidirectional base isolation in the case of a big earthquake, movement can be limited and the bridge fall of a girder can be prevented in the case of the maximum sliding movement and a sliding material in a shoe stone is exchanged easily.
